Eleanor Baker is a founding member of Baker Newman Noyes (BNN), having previously spent 18 years in the Portland, Maine office of KPMG, one of BNN’s predecessor companies. During her tenure as managing principal from 2003 to 2008, and again from 2012 to 2015, Baker helped direct BNN’s expansion in New Hampshire and Massachusetts, which earned the firm national recognition as one of Accounting Today’s fastest-growing firms in the United States. In 2014, Baker was named one of Maine Magazine’s “50 People Shaping Our State.” The growth during her tenure as managing principal included three strategic mergers in 2015.
Baker holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maine, a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law, and an LL.M. in taxation from Boston University School of Law.
